BUILT FOR NEURODIVERGENT FIRST

Most management training is built for one type of brain, then quietly expects everyone else to keep up. Zen Boss flips that.

Around 1 in 7 people in the UK are neurodivergent. So there's a good chance some of your managers are too, whether or not it's ever been said out loud.

Yet almost all management training assumes a single way of learning: sit still, absorb the theory, remember it months later.

For an ADHD, autistic or dyslexic manager, that's often the format least likely to work.

Zen Boss was designed the other way round: bite-sized, no jargon, more than one way in, and nothing to memorise and forget. No wall of theory. No sitting through a full-day course hoping it sticks.

And the best bit…

A format that removes friction for a neurodivergent manager removes friction for EVERY manager.

So whichever type of brain your managers have, they get training that's genuinely easier to use.

Training that works in the real world, and actually sticks

Bite-sized, personalised support managers that can pull up the second a sticky situation lands on their desk ― so they know exactly what to do in the moment (instead of relying on a workshop from 3 weeks ago).

It's built the way a neurodivergent brain needs training to land : short, concrete, and usable on the spot. Which is exactly why it works for absolutely everyone.

Ongoing coaching that keeps managers growing as they lead

Managers get LIVE coaching on real challenges (not hypotheticals) so they get confident at handling exactly what's in front of them, right as it's happening.

With room to show up however works best for them, not a rigid, one-size-fits-all format.

wellbeing support that fits into the Manager’s day-to-day,

Zen Boss weaves practical wellbeing tools into how managers work every single day. Low-overwhelm and sensory-aware by design so they can look after themselves, while looking after their team.

When managers are happy, teams are healthier, and people actually look forward to Mondays. (Yes, really.)

Most managers don’t struggle because they’re bad at their job…

They struggle because they’re expected to magically know how to manage people without ever being taught .

This is exactly what’s happening in workplaces every single day….

Businesses pour an eyewatering amount of money into management training programmes that promise to create confident, capable leaders.

Managers spend 6-12 months in classrooms, typing notes on frameworks and conflict resolution, and all the right things to say and do.

But the second a team member drops the ball, tough feedback needs to be delivered, or anything remotely tricky comes across their desk.

Those notes are about as useful as an umbrella in a hurricane

And if that manager happens to be neurodivergent, the odds are stacked even higher. Months of theory-heavy, sit-still-and-absorb-it training is exactly the format that ADHD, autistic and dyslexic brains find hardest to retain — not because they can't lead, but because nobody built the training for how they actually think.

Managers second-guess what to do, so they escalate. They flick a “just checking…” email to their line manager, who has to drop what they’re doing to hand-hold the situation.

That manager loops in someone from HR, just to be safe, who has to take an hour out of their day to get up to speed.

And what could have been resolved in a 10 min conversation now involves three department heads and a whole bunch of Zoom meetings that could’ve been emails!

Which would be fine… IF it were just a one-off.

But when it happens on Tuesday. Then Wednesday. Then keeps happening across every manager, every team, every week — it becomes what we call:

The Productivity Sinkhole

And the business that should be thriving is now haemorrhaging money, people, and momentum

…all because the training stopped ‘working’ the second managers got back to their desks.

And the numbers back it up

of managers are overwhelmed by their responsibilities, and 73% aren’t equipped to lead organisational change.

Source: Gartner

£13.2 B

Is lost annually to unproductive meetings, email overload, and correcting avoidable mistakes. (That’s 7.3 weeks per manager, per year, wasted on work that shouldn’t be happening in the first place)

Source: YouGov

£30,614

is the average cost of replacing ONE employee in the UK, and it’s even higher for managers and senior roles. And since 67% of UK employees have left or seriously considered leaving their job due to poor management…the numbers aren’t great.

(That’s why you promoted them!)

Your managers are smart, capable people who are brilliant at what they do.

And with the right support, they CAN be the leaders who hold the business together and bring the best out of your people.

But expecting that to happen off the back of a training they took 6 months ago is like handing someone a map and expecting them to navigate rush hour traffic in a city they’ve never driven in.

So what if instead of sending your managers away with a map they'll never use…

Your managers could get the directions as they're driving?

Meet the training that works while your managers do

Zen Boss equips your managers to solve real problems in the workplace before they escalate and cost you thousands in turnover and lost productivity.

Instead of a one-off programme they’ll never use…we train your managers for you, with a community and coaching support they can tap into anytime, so they become confident, capable leaders who can make the tough calls, lead high-performing teams, and handle issues early.

We built the whole thing neurodivergent-first.

Clear structure, no jargon, bite-sized delivery, and more than one way in (watch it, read it, or talk it through live) so every manager, whatever their brain wiring, can actually use it.

We offer a complete leadership ecosystem (training, coaching, and constant support ― not a one-off course), so your managers can solve problems at the source, before they ever reach your desk.

Instead of being pulled away from your work you can trust:

  • Your managers can own their responsibilities

Without feeling like they need to run everything up the chain, wait for the ‘right time’ to deal with it, or worse still ― brush it under the rug and hope it disappears.

  • Your managers and your people both feel supported

They’re not second-guessing every call or drowning under the weight of it all. Which means they can lead their team well, and people feel valued, developed, and looked after.

  • Issues get resolved early

The small stuff stays small. And the stuff that genuinely needs HR involvement gets escalated for the right reasons.

  • Everyone can focus on the job they’re there to do

Because their calendars are no longer being hijacked by meetings that could’ve been a two-line email.

Business runs better because your managers know how to lead

They’re making the tough calls, having the right conversations, and bringing the best out of every person on their team. Which means better work, fewer headaches, and a business with room to grow.

(And you’ll get all the credit for bringing us in 😉)

Your business is only as strong as your Managers.

let’s make them brilliant!

Give managers the skills to stand on their own two feet, so problems get solved before they cost you thousands in escalations and delays

Zen Boss lives in your managers’ pockets.

 Literally.

All of the training sits in one app (mobile and desktop), so when something comes up, they can find what they need in a couple of taps so small problems don’t snowball into expensive ones.

One size has never fit all specially…

when it comes to managing people.

Your managers aren’t identical, so we don’t put them through the same generic training. Zen Boss tailors development to each manager’s stage, challenges and and how their brain works best (and evolves as they grow) so nobody’s bored, lost, or wasting time on modules that don’t apply to them.

Guide managers to take ownership…

and build teams that do the same.

Zen Boss coaches confidence so your managers can back their own judgement, tackle the hard conversations, and make decisions they can stand behind. Which means people step up, take initiative, and deliver great work without needing to be asked twice.

Tell me more!

And there’s more …

Wellbeing support that keeps managers calm and collected, even when the pressure’s cranking up, and nothing’s going to plan

“I can’t wait to step away from all this work for a wellbeing day I won’t remember next week,” ― said no manager, ever.

Because a one-off session and a box of cupcakes in the break room for ‘morale’ doesn’t cut it when someone’s juggling endless back-to-back meetings, a team counting on them for answers, and performance issues they’re supposed to handle without any real training on how.

ZenBoss builds practical, day-to-day wellbeing into how your managers work every single day so they don’t have to carry the mental load alone, and they can look after themselves without dropping the ball on their team.

For neurodivergent managers especially, who often spend extra energy masking or compensating just to get through an ordinary day — that built-in support isn't a nice-to-have. It's the difference between thriving and burning out.

You’ve seen what happens when the training doesn’t prepare your managers for the job.

(The productivity dip across your team is proof of that.)

Now, let’s flip it

Problems get handled on the spot (not tossed around like a hot potato)

When something comes up, your manager reads the room, makes the call, and deals with it properly without waiting three days for someone senior to weigh in.

Decisions get made (or delegated) properly the first time

With clear direction and proper context so it doesn’t land back in the manager’s inbox with four follow-up questions, or sit in limbo while everyone waits to see who’s doing it.

Difficult conversations happen before they become expensive ones

Feedback is delivered in honest, constructive conversations while there’s still time to turn it around. Which means issues don’t snowball into a high-stakes situation that clears out HR’s entire afternoon.

The team knows exactly where they stand

People stop CC'ing their manager on every email and start solving problems themselves. Expectations are clear, decisions are consistent (not biased), and the team cracks on with their work without waiting to be told what to do next.

Work moves at the pace it should

The manager stops being the bottleneck on every decision. The team takes ownership, backs themselves to deliver, and deadlines get met without the awkward, “we need to push this back again” conversation.

Managers manage, leaders stay out of the weeds, and HR gets their time back

Nothing gets run up the chain because it’s handled at the source. And everyone gets back to doing the job they were hired for (wild, we know).

Your best people stick around because they want to

Which means you're not spending £30,000+ every time someone leaves for a better-managed workplace, burning months on recruitment, and watching new hires take half a year to reach the productivity level of the person you lost.

Your business grows, because it can

You have managers who know how to lead by example, a team that steps up, and hours back in your calendar to focus on the work that drives the business forward. And you've saved thousands (possibly hundreds of thousands) by not spending it on turnover, absence, and training that doesn't stick.

Ready to see what your business looks like with managers who know how to lead?

Zen Boss trains your managers while they lead, so you get calmer managers, stronger teams, and a business that can grow instead of putting out the same fires on repeat.

Getting started is pretty straightforward.

We’re not saying traditional management training is bad…but:

Your managers deserve something better than a one-off course or programme they’ll forget by Friday

Because if it worked the way it’s meant to, you wouldn’t still be playing workplace whack-a-mole with the same problems every few weeks.

Here’s how Zen Boss compares against the management training you’ve tried (and re-tried):

Traditional Management Training

Managers disappear into a training room for a day (or 3 months), role-play theoretical scenarios, and come back to an overflowing inbox, too overwhelmed to apply anything they learned.

Neurodivergent managers are left to mask, compensate, or quietly figure it out on their own — because the training was never built with them in mind.

Support stops the second training ends. After that, they’re on their own.

Static, one-size-fits-all content goes stale fast, which means booking (and paying for) a whole new programme every time the world of work changes.

Learnings get forgotten as soon as managers are back at their desk and faced with an actual problem.

Mental health & wellbeing support gets a 5-minute tick-box mention (if that) before it’s back to business as usual.

£70-£100k investment (with fingers crossed it works).

Training happens in the flow of work, in easily digested, bite-sized sessions built around real-world scenarios that managers can pull up the second a tricky situation lands on their desk. No out-of-office required.

Built neurodivergent-first: clear structure, low-overwhelm design, and more than one way to learn, so every manager — whatever their brain wiring — can actually use it and thrive, not just get through it.

Managers get bi-weekly coaching calls and a community space they can turn to when something comes up mid-week. And tailored feedback helps managers keep improving as they lead, instead of scrambling to figure it out on their own.

Recognises that every manager is at a different stage with different challenges. Training is personalised to each manager, evolves constantly based on real situations they’re facing, and grows with them as they develop so it always stays relevant.

Learning sticks because managers are using it in real time to build confidence and make better decisions. Plus, trainings are fun and memorable (no boring PowerPoint presentations in sight).

Wellbeing (and ongoing support) is built in so managers can lead without burning out or taking stress-related absence (which averages 21 days and costs you thousands each time).

An ROI you can feel ripple throughout your entire business. Objectives get delivered, revenue targets get hit, teams perform without constant oversight, and your people choose to stay and thrive, which means your business thrives too!.

Get your business running the way it should

Managers who can manage without constant hand-holding

Because they know how to make the tough calls and bring the best out of the people they lead (and the team are glad they’re the one in charge).

More time for the work that moves the strategic needle

No more "can I just run this by you" at 4:50 pm on a Friday. The big-picture work that drives the business forward finally gets your full attention, because you’re no longer getting pulled into “quick chats” (which, let’s face it, were never going to be quick).

High-performing teams who get the work done

People take ownership and don’t need to be chased for an update every other day, because they've got a manager who sets clear expectations and trusts them to deliver.

A workplace people want to grow with, not grow out of

Your best people feel valued and supported by a manager who listens to them. So instead of jumping to a better-run workplace, this becomes the place they build their career and tell their mates to apply when roles come up.

Who do we train?

Zen Boss helps every type of manager step up and become the high-performing leaders your business needs

The Accidental Manager

Who was brilliant at their job, promoted as a result, and now has been thrown in the deep end when it comes to managing people.

The People Pleasing Manager

Who’d rather deal with the chaos than have an uncomfortable conversation, and has accidentally created a team where nobody knows what’s expected of them.

The First time Manager

Who went from grabbing lunch with their teammates to being their boss overnight (and has absolutely no clue how to do both, yet).

The Burnout Manager

Who’s getting things done, but running on fumes and is thiiis close to handing in their notice…and leaving a trail of half-handled situations for HR to sort out.

Got a pick ‘n’ mix bag of these in your business?

Good, that’s what Zen Boss is built for. No two managers are the same, so nobody sits through the same generic training. Every manager gets a tailored journey path based on their role, their gaps, and what they need to do to become a better leader.

If your business relies on managers to keep things running day-to-day (hint: that’s most  businesses) — this is for you.
