Your managers are the superglue of your business. So let's make sure they're holding it all together.
EXPERT SUPPORT FOR TRAINING AND COACHING YOUR MANAGERS
Wondering who would be training your Managers?
That’ll be me.
Not much gets under my skin. But two things always have: people stuck with bad bosses, and a world that's just not built for neurodivergent minds. When I see either one hurting someone, I can't just watch. I have to do something.
I've wanted people happy for as long as I can remember. Ask my family. Every birthday, same wish, blown out with the candles: for the people I love to be happy and healthy. (Yes, I know that's technically more than one wish.)
In 2025, I stopped in my tracks and asked myself a question: what's one sure-fire way I can make people happier and build that into my work, not just my birthday candles? That question became ZenBoss.
We spend over 70% of our lives at work.
We deserve to be happy while we're doing it. And yet nearly everyone I talk to has had a bad boss, not just a rough patch at work, but someone who followed them home, into their evenings, into how they felt about themselves. People don't quit their jobs. They quit bad management. I know, because I've been that person leaving.
I've had brilliant bosses too, and when I did, I thrived. Happy at work, happy in life. We need more of those.
At 19, I became a manager overnight, leading a team of 50+ people of every age. My company wouldn't invest a penny in training me. So I figured it out myself. I took every bad boss I'd had already and flipped it into a list of what not to do, then leaned on my step-dad, who ran his own business and led big teams brilliantly, as my unofficial coach.
Years rolled on. I led more teams, moved into L&D, supported and coached managers who led big teams and built leadership programmes for managers.
And here's what I learned, coaching and personalised support beats a 12-month, one-size-fits-all course, every time.
Then ADHD and Autism walked into my life, through my Son. He's 15 now. Being immersed in his world, I saw fast how schools, workplaces, and society just weren't built for how his brain works.
Why not?
Here's the bit that keeps me up at night: if we built things for neurodivergent people first, neurotypical people would find them easier too, without even trying. So why don't we start there?
I've watched my Son struggle for years against support that was supposed to help him but actually worked against how his brain is wired. I've explained this more times than I care to count.
To teachers, headteachers, SEND leads, even family! And now he's getting close to entering the working world, and honestly? It scares me. Because workplaces, and the people leading them, aren't ready. Some companies are starting to adapt — flexible policies, quieter spaces — but it's not enough. I don't want my son to lose a job because the people and the systems around him won't meet him halfway.
So I decided to change that. Starting with how we train managers.
The traditional 6-to-12-month slog of eLearning and classroom sessions is outdated, and it doesn't work. Especially not for neurodivergent managers.
ZenBoss is built to disrupt that, from the ground up: neurodivergent-first, and brilliant for everyone else too.
I've poured everything I have into it:
